Human Services and Psychology
Welcome to the Department of Human Services and Psychology in the College of Professional Advancement! We’re excited that you’re interested in our programs and we hope to answer any questions you may have about our degree offerings, along with where they may take you after you finish your degree at Mercer!
Our faculty comes from a variety of backgrounds and training, including pertinent life experiences to help provide you with the best education possible. The faculty in the Department of Human Services and Psychology also strive to teach in ways that are innovative and creative, while keeping up with current research and professional standards that put our students in the best position possible to achieve their goals, whatever they may be!
In our department, we offer three degree options with flexible modalities that meet the needs of our non-traditional students. We offer a master’s degree in Human Services, with flexible courses online, Saturdays classes, and in a hybrid format. Additionally, we offer a bachelor’s degree in Psychology that can be completed fully online or face-to-face at our Atlanta campus. Finally, we offer a bachelor’s degree in Human Services with majority of the course work offered online and face-to-face offerings at three of our campuses, Macon, Douglas and Henry.
Please take a few minutes to learn more about the specifics of our three degrees and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to email myself or any of our faculty as we’d be happy to assist to the best of our ability!
