Graduate Teaching/Research Assistantships (GTRA)

Graduate teaching/research assistantships (GTRA) opportunities may be available for students during the first three years of their academic study. These competitive assignments are for those students who desire a significant mentoring experience. GTRAs will work with their faculty mentor on projects which will help increase the student’s skills, confidence, awareness, and overall competence in academia. These assistantships are opportunities for students to assist faculty on projects as they are mentored in areas of teaching, research, supervision, leadership/advocacy, and counseling while building professional relationships for future success. Students working as GTRAs are expected to provide 10 hours per week of time for a tuition stipend.
