Jason R. Holloway joined the faculty at Mercer University in 2015 as an Instructor of Liberal and Historical Studies and the Coordinator of New Student Advising and Retention for the College of Professional Advancement. He holds dual MA degrees in Social Sciences – History from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and in Spanish from Georgia State University as well as dual BA degrees in History and Foreign Languages – Spanish from Wake Forest University and Edinboro University of Pennsylvania respectively. He is currently working toward completion of a PhD in World History at Georgia State University, holding All but Dissertation (ABD) status, with areas of specialization in Modern Europe, Colonial and Modern Latin America and the Modern Middle East. Previous to Mercer University, he has taught history at Georgia Perimeter College and Spanish at Georgia State University.
